Robert Half is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Benefits Administrator to oversee the day-to-day operations of employee benefits programs. This role is crucial to supporting employees and ensuring that the organization’s benefits offerings remain compliant, competitive, and accessible. The Benefits Administrator will play a key role in facilitating open enrollment, managing vendor relationships, and addressing employee benefit inquiries.
Job Responsibility:
Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, wellness programs, and more
Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits enrollment, claims, and eligibility
Prepare and maintain records of benefits-related documentation while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA
Assist in the annual benefits renewal and open enrollment process, including communications and vendor coordination
Conduct regular audits of payroll and benefits data to ensure accuracy and compliance
Liaise with benefits providers to resolve employee claims or billing discrepancies
Develop and distribute educational materials to help employees understand their benefits options and make informed decisions
Collaborate with HR leadership to evaluate and optimize the company’s benefits offerings based on employee feedback and market trends
Stay informed of regulations and market trends to ensure the organization's benefit programs are competitive and compliant
Requirements:
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in benefits administration or HR-related roles
Solid knowledge of federal, state, and local benefits regulations, including ACA, COBRA, and FMLA
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and HRIS systems
Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to manage confidential information with professionalism
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
Certification in Benefits Administration (e.g., CEBS) is a plus
