Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Benefits Administrator to join our team on a contract basis in Norfolk, Virginia. In this role, you will play a key part in managing employee benefits inquiries, reconciling data, and overseeing related administrative tasks. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and experience in benefits coordination.

Job Responsibility:

  • Address employee questions related to benefits payments and provide clear, accurate information
  • Manage and reconcile weekly reports to ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Handle the reconciliation of benefits invoices and resolve any discrepancies
  • Coordinate COBRA administration and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
  • Support leave of absence processes and maintain accurate documentation
  • Assist with compensation and benefits-related tasks, ensuring all processes align with company policies
  • Utilize Workday HRIS to manage and track benefits data effectively
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain seamless benefits operations
  • Prepare and analyze benefits reports for management review
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to employee benefits

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in benefits administration or a related field
  • Strong skills in account reconciliation and data management
  • Familiarity with COBRA administration and leave of absence processes
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefits practices and regulations
  • Proficiency in using Workday HRIS or similar systems
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with employees and internal teams
