Job Description

Every group Personify Health serves runs on a foundation someone has to build and keep solid — and that someone is the Benefit System Coordinator. You stand up new groups, configure the systems behind them, and maintain that setup through every renewal, change, and termination that follows. When your work is precise, members get the right benefits, billing stays accurate, and teams across Account Management, Implementation, Plan Building, and Tech Ops can move fast because the data underneath them is clean. When it slips, the whole chain feels it — which is exactly why this role sits at the center of how smoothly we operate. Your accuracy and follow-through keep groups running and clients confident in the system Personify Health delivers.

Job Responsibility

  • Build new groups from the ground up: Create and secure approval on Salesforce setup sheets, stand up new groups in GIAS, configure ODR tables, and set up test members so each group launches ready to run
  • Audit every setup before go-live: Review new group builds, eligibility, and products against rate cards, catching errors before they reach members or billing
  • Maintain group records through their full lifecycle: Keep GIAS addresses, contacts, group names, accounts, plans, and PBM configurations current as groups evolve and add new products
  • Process renewals and rate updates end to end: Handle monthly GAP renewals with or without changes, update rate tables for pass-through costs, refresh renewal rate cards, and manage FSA renewal benefit plan information
  • Handle terminations cleanly: Process group and account terminations, delete PIDs on request, and administratively term members when their benefit plans are already closed
  • Resolve eligibility and billing issues: Investigate billing errors and eligibility problems and correct them so data stays accurate across every system
  • Support specialty groups and vendor accounts: Maintain Kempton groups, stand up Gap groups, add vendor accounts, build COBRA new-group checklists, and process change notices as needed
  • Partner across departments: Work with Account Management, Implementation, Plan Building, and Tech Ops to keep group data aligned and easy for internal and external teams to interpret

Requirements

  • Degree preferred but not required
  • Background in benefits administration, insurance, or healthcare operations a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with benefits or eligibility administration systems (e.g., GIAS) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Working knowledge of group setup, rate tables, renewals, plan building, and eligibility data

What we offer

  • Competitive base salary and benefits effective day one
  • Comprehensive medical and dental through our own health solutions (yes, we use what we build)
  • Paid Time Off—rest and recharge time is non-negotiable
  • Mental health support, retirement planning, and financial protection
  • Professional development with clear career progression and learning budgets
  • Mission-driven culture where diverse perspectives drive real impact on people's health

  • Own eligibility records for the life of every client: Enter and maintain enrollment data across multiple carriers and associations, keeping system records accurate from onboarding through termination
  • Serve as the front line for clients and brokers: Act as the main point of contact for day-to-day eligibility requests — new hire enrollments, plan and benefit changes, dependent additions, and member terminations

  • Resolve discrepancies before they become problems: Investigate issues flagged by clients or vendors and reconcile records so eligibility data stays accurate and aligned everywhere it lives
  • Validate and report on enrollment data: Use reporting tools to analyze, evaluate, and confirm eligibility, catching errors that could disrupt coverage or billing before they reach a member
