Job Description:

The successful candidate will contribute to process improvements and cost reduction by providing support to Senior Directors in Benchmarking and Cost Optimization. Responsibilities include supporting presentations, tracking improvement initiatives, performing benchmarking, and conducting operational analysis. Applicants need to have a strong background in financial analysis, collaboration, and technical tools like ERP and Power-BI.

Job Responsibility:

collect, validate, and analyze costs and procedures for a variety of functions within the organization
work conscientiously on confidential projects related to sensitive topics
create a knowledge sharing environment, collaborating effectively with a multitude of services and personalities
support multiple projects involving different teams and leaders
track improvement initiatives to ensure achievement of objectives according to plans
identify relevant future initiatives and stay abreast of trends and best practices in the industry
perform benchmarking and explore new cost optimization and innovative improvement opportunities
log workflows, procedures, checklists, and policies related to assigned tasks
perform other types of operational analysis as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a field related to business administration, or relevant experience
minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar position
experience in retail environment an asset
prior consulting experience an asset
proven knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting, corporate finance and analytics of information
strong technical skills in data gathering and analysis, using consolidating systems, BI and ERPs
a keen business sense and a strong analytical mind
exceptional organizational ability to synthesize large amounts of data, manage project planning and produce project reports
demonstrated ability to work in a team and in collaboration with other stakeholders
proven ability to communicate effectively with high level of tact (French and English)
experience with ERP’s and consolidation systems such as Longview or Hyperion
advanced skills using Excel
Power-BI knowledge
good knowledge of project management and PMI framework
