Job Description:

The Bellstand Attendant at Delta Hotels Thunder Bay provides exceptional guest service, assisting with luggage, room features, and transportation arrangements, while upholding Marriott International standards.

Job Responsibility:

Greet and escort guests to rooms
open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving property
inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities
identify and explain room features to guests
transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell area
assist with luggage storage and retrieval
assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles
supply guests with directions
arrange transportation for guests/visitors
communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors
follow company policies and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
no related work experience
no supervisory experience
ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and over 75 pounds with assistance
ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
