To be responsible for welcoming all guests to the hotel as well as bidding them farewell. The Bellperson is escorting guests to and from their accommodations, orienting them with the features of the property and their accommodations, assisting the guest in any way to make them feel more comfortable.
Job Responsibility:
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
Responsible for the warm arrival of our guests at the front door
Promptly offer luggage assistance
Answer guest queries in an informative and helpful way
Assist concierge desk
Flexible shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends
Serves as an ambassador of the hotel
Engages with guest and visitors
Responsible for luggage handling in a courteous and efficient manner
Have full knowledge of the hotel’s emergency procedures
Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
Follow all safety policies
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Previous customer service experience preferred
Customer Service experience, preferably as a Bellperson, Doorperson or in hospitality environment
Excellent communication skills
Must possess a professional presentation
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Service focused personality and passion for hospitality
Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.A.
