Job Description:

Bellman position at Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Chalong Bay Resort, responsible for greeting and assisting guests with luggage, providing information about property amenities and local areas, arranging transportation, and ensuring excellent guest service while following company policies and procedures.

Job Responsibility:

Greet and escort guests to rooms
Open doors and assist guests/visitors
Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours
Explain room features to guests
Transport guest luggage to/from rooms and bell area
Assist with luggage storage and retrieval
Assist guests in/out of vehicles with luggage
Supply guests with directions
Arrange transportation for guests
Communicate parking procedures
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
Maintain awareness of undesirable persons
Ensure clean and professional appearance
Welcome and acknowledge all guests
Assist individuals with disabilities
Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
Develop positive working relationships

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats
Physical ability to move at required speed (run, walk, jog)
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds without assistance and over 75 pounds with assistance
Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs
Reach overhead and below knees with bending, twisting, pulling, stooping
