Behavioural Support Assistant | SEMH & Mentorship | Local Secondary Schools. Position: Full-Time, Long-Term (Term Time Only). Salary: £90 - £95 per day (Weekly Pay - dependent on experience). We are seeking dedicated Behavioural Mentors to work with students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Years 7-11). Your Role as a Behavioural Mentor: De-escalation & Support: Recognise triggers and use low-level de-escalation techniques to prevent classroom disruptions and keep students on task. 1:1 & Small Group Mentorship: Work closely with specific students to build rapport, improve their social skills, and boost their self-esteem through structured intervention. Inclusion Support: Assist the school's Inclusion or 'Bridge' unit, providing a safe space for students who find the mainstream classroom environment overwhelming. Collaborative Strategy: Work alongside the SENCO and Pastoral Leads to implement individual behaviour plans (IBPs) and ensure a consistent approach to student welfare.
