Job Description:

Pink Tile Education is supporting a secondary school in East Grinstead to recruit a dedicated Behaviour Support Mentor. The role involves supporting students to manage their behaviour, build resilience, and succeed academically and socially.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide behaviour support and mentorship to students, including those with SEND or SEMH needs
  • Build strong rapport with students, fostering trust and engagement
  • Implement positive behaviour strategies and interventions
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to maintain consistent support
  • Record and monitor student progress and interventions

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with secondary school students, (mainstream, SEND or SEMH settings)
  • Current DBS certificate on the update service
  • Strong resilience and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly
  • Excellent communication and rapport-building skills
  • Must have driving license to travel between two sites in the area
