As a Behaviour Support, you will provide crucial on-call support across the school day. When students become disruptive or are struggling in class, you’ll be called to safely remove them from lessons, help them regulate their emotions, and support them in returning to learning as quickly as possible. Your calm, empathetic and consistent approach will play a key part in maintaining a positive learning environment across the school.
Job Responsibility:
Respond to on-call behaviour alerts throughout the school
Support students in emotional regulation and de-escalation
Work closely with pastoral and SEN teams
Encourage a smooth reintegration of students back into lessons
Requirements:
Experience supporting young people with SEN or SEMH needs
A calm, professional, and supportive approach to behaviour management
Confidence in working independently and responding to situations in real time
