Job Description:

EdEx are exclusively working with an Outstanding graded Primary school in the heart of Enfield to find a Behaviour Support Assistant. This role supports a boy in Year 1 with Autism and Behaviour Needs (SEMH), offering exposure to future opportunities in therapy; psychology; and counselling careers.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting a boy in Year 1 with Autism (ASD)
Behaviour Needs (SEMH)
working 1-2-1 with the boy to best support him
building a nurturing relationship over the remaining academic year
using resilience and initiative to best support the pupil

Requirements:

Kind
caring
compassionate
resilient and able to use initiative
a graduate is ideal but not essential
ambitious with future career aspirations within Psychology
Therapy
Counselling
Support Work
Behaviour etc
some experience with children with additional needs
transferrable skills
