Job Description:

Behaviour Support Assistant | Outstanding, Nurturing & Creative Primary School | Barking & Dagenham. EdEx are exclusively working with a “Outstanding” graded Primary school in the heart of Barking & Dagenham to find a Behaviour Support Assistant. Roles at this school only come up every couple of years, due to the existing team being so well-looked after. This really is an opportunity not to be missed.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting a boy in Year 1 with Autism (ASD), Behaviour Needs (SEMH)
Working 1-2-1 with the boy to best support him, building a nurturing relationship over the remaining academic year

Requirements:

Kind, caring, compassionate, resilient and able to use initiative
A graduate is ideal, but not essential
Ambitious with future career aspirations within
Psychology, Therapy, Counselling, Support Work, Behaviour etc
Some experience with children with additional needs, great if in a school setting, but can also be transferrable skills!

Nice to have:

Aspiring Child Psychologist
Experience with children with additional needs
