Job Description:

EdEx is exclusively working with an 'Outstanding' SEN Primary School in Bromley to find a Behaviour Support Assistant. This role includes supporting a Year 1 pupil with Autism (ASD) and Behaviour Needs (SEMH) on a 1-2-1 basis. The position begins in September 2025 with school hours and offers a daily rate of £110–£115 per day depending on experience.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting a boy in Year 1 with Autism (ASD)
Behaviour Needs (SEMH)
Working 1-2-1 with the boy to best support him
building a nurturing relationship over the remaining academic year
Pupil is great – but requires additional support with a candidate who is resilient and can use their initiative to best support him

Requirements:

Kind
caring
compassionate
resilient and able to use initiative
A graduate is ideal
but not essential
Ambitious with future career aspirations within
Psychology
Therapy
Counselling
Support Work
Behaviour etc
Some experience with children with additional needs
great if in a school setting
but can also be transferrable skills
