Empower Young People. De-escalate with Care. Be a Behaviour Support Assistant. This role involves supporting secondary-age pupils with emotional and behavioural needs, both in classrooms and through home-based support when needed. You'll be a steady presence, guiding pupils through academic challenges and emotional struggles.
Job Responsibility:
Work with students on a 1:1 basis to support their emotional wellbeing
Assist with lesson catch-up and academic engagement
Respond to behavioural incidents constructively and with empathy
Maintain progress records and contribute to team planning
Requirements:
School-based experience in the UK is essential
Enhanced DBS (Child & Adult Workforce) required
At least 6 months of UK-based education work
Right to work in the UK
Full weekday availability during school hours (8:30 AM - 3:30 PM)
