As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students who require additional behavioural and emotional support, helping them to develop positive relationships, improve engagement, and succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
Job Responsibility
Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with behavioural, emotional, and social needs
Build positive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and resilience
Support students in managing their behaviour and emotions using positive behaviour strategies
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to implement individual support plans
Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Requirements
Experience working with children or young people in a school, youth work, care, coaching, or mentoring setting is desirable
A calm, patient, and resilient approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
