Behaviour Mentor working alongside pupils with SEMH & complex behavioural needs who require additional guidance from a positive and assertive role model. Supporting their everyday routine and keeping them engaged and motivated to learn in the classroom at a mainstream Secondary School in Lambeth.
Job Responsibility:
Supporting children with a range of SEN & SEMH to keep them engaged in the classroom
Encourage the development of the students' social skills
Work within the classroom and in smaller groups to accommodate needs
Support and comply with the school's safeguarding procedures
Requirements:
A 2:1 or a First-class degree from a reputable University
Genuine interest working with SEN and Mental Health
Excellent communication skills and willingness to adapt
Experience in a previous role, or personal experience in SEN is desirable
Calm and compassionate nature
Nice to have:
Experience in a previous role, or personal experience in SEN is desirable
Psychology/Criminology graduate
