Job Description:

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work with pupils with SEMH and complex behavioural needs, supporting their everyday routine, engagement, and motivation in the classroom. This role offers the chance to gain experience working with children with complex needs in a supportive educational environment.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting children with a range of SEN & SEMH to keep them engaged in the classroom
Encourage the development of the students’ social skills
Work within the classroom and in smaller groups to accommodate needs
Support and comply with the school’s safeguarding procedures

Requirements:

A 2:1 or a First-class degree from a reputable University
Genuine interest working with SEN and Mental Health
Excellent communication skills and willingness to adapt
Experience in a previous role, or personal experience in SEN is desirable
Calm and compassionate nature

Nice to have:

Experience in a previous role, or personal experience in SEN
