Job Description:

Compass Associates is working with a well-established provider of specialist care and support services to recruit for two Behaviour Analysts on a full-time permanent basis. The role involves visiting residential homes and supported accommodation across Yorkshire to carry out assessments and interventions for adults with complex needs, following a PBS Framework.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carry out specialist assessments and interventions for adults who have complex needs, learning disabilities, challenging behaviours and autism
  • Work directly with individuals to identify achievable, person-centred goals
  • Deliver internal training to ensure staff have the skills to provide high quality and supportive environments
  • Oversee residential and supported accommodation services in specific geographical areas
  • Be part of a wider multidisciplinary team
  • Participate in weekly MDT meetings to review referrals, discuss shared care plans, receive clinical supervision and participate in CPD

Requirements:

  • Masters level qualification in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) or Positive Behavioural Support (PBS)
  • Registration with the UK Society of Behaviour Analysis (UKSBA)
  • Experience and good knowledge of working with a PBS framework
  • Previous experience working with adults who have learning disabilities and autism
  • Knowledge of restrictive practice reduction
  • Experience working as a Behaviour Analyst
  • UK driving licence and own car
