El Rio Health seeks a Behavioral Health Professional to join our outpatient team providing care for El Rio patients our various 14 locations in Tucson, AZ. El Rio offers a supportive, integrated healthcare environment with a strong emphasis on community care and provider well-being. The primary goal of the El Rio Health Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) is to support El Rio’s Mission of providing comprehensive, quality health care that is affordable and accessible to all who may have healthcare needs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provides a range of services inclusive of primary care behavioral health, crisis management, mental health assessment, counseling services, and coordination of care to patients as part of the integrated health team
  • Coordinates behavioral health care with the primary care medical and behavioral health teams and promotes ongoing collaboration and cohesiveness between those teams to ensure delivery of whole health care to patients
  • Facilitates seamless, unduplicated services with various departments within clinic settings related to primary care and behavioral health specialty care services
  • Delivers a range of interventions consistent and appropriate to the clinic setting, model of care, and role assigned
  • May include the clinical supervision of non-independently licensed providers toward independent licensure

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in a behavioral health field (i.e., social work, counseling, psychology
  • Three (3) years’ post-graduate clinical experience in behavioral health, community health centers, primary care, or behavioral health settings
  • Arizona Licensed Behavioral Health Professional
  • current, valid and in good standing
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers
  • Level I fingerprint clearance card: current valid and in good standing or have applied for it within seven working days after beginning employment
  • Reliable transportation that can meet any operational reassignments of the organization during the workday
  • If driving during work hours, a valid driver’s license and must comply with Arizona vehicle insurance requirements

Nice to have:

  • Five (5) years’ working experience in community health centers, primary care, or behavioral health settings
  • Independently Licensed in the State of Arizona as a Behavioral Health Professional at the Independent level including any of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor(LPC), Licensed Psychologists
  • Current Certification from the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners for Clinical Supervision
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) with the ability to speak, read and write in both languages
