Job Description

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Behavioral Health Intern at Baptist Medical Center. This is a Full Time opportunity. The Behavioral Health Intern provides services under the supervision of licensed mental health providers. Applicants must have already obtained “Registered Intern” status from the state of Florida to apply (Licensed Mental Health Counselor Intern Required OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker Intern Required) Interns deliver assessment, intervention, and consultation/liaison services across various hospital settings. The intern will meet performance and medical documentation standards based on hospital system policy, established profession-wide competencies, and post-graduate training guidelines. They engage in scholarly, continuing education, and clinical supervision activities. Successful completion of the two-year Baptist Behavioral health post-master’s internship will result in direct contact and supervision hours required for licensure in the state of FL.
