Job Responsibility

  • Provides direct 1:1 services to children with autism and related disorders in the home or clinic setting under the supervision and guidance of the case specialist, supervisor, and clinical team
  • Attends scheduled team meetings, related observations, and implements behavior interventions and programs
  • Teaching communication, self-care, social skills, etc.
  • Implements behavior intervention strategies as decided upon in team meetings and/or as directed by case specialist or supervisor
  • Performs other duties as assigned reasonably within the scope of a Behavior Therapist

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience working with children
  • Must legally be authorized to work in the United States
  • Possesses a California driver’s license and have proof of automobile insurance
  • Must provide verification of negative TB test and a criminal background check

Nice to have

  • BA degree in psychology, sociology, or other related field is a plus
  • RBT certification is a plus
