Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire or Basic Life Support Instructor, upon hire
First Aid, within 6 - months, upon hire

Job Responsibility

Provide basic medication triage, support services, and take vital signs for behavioral health patients
Manage front office reception, patient registration, insurance/copay processing, and telephones
Handle back office tasks like refill requests, injections, and accurate EHR documentation
Assist patients through a trauma informed care atmosphere
Assist patients in acknowledging and accepting responsibility for psychological and behavioral patterns
Provide appropriate emergency care and maintain a safe environment
Perform basic nursing tasks (i.e. vital signs, blood pressure, specimen collection, accu checks, weighing and assisting with ADL)
Assist the nurse in carrying out orders within scope of practice
Provide trauma informed care and supervision to patients needing physical restraints or seclusion
Assist the patient in dealing with relationship difficulties, supports and teaches appropriate socializations skills
