Before and after school hours care educators

• Supervising primary school children in outdoor and indoor activities
• Assisting other staff in engaging in programs that are both fun and educational
• Setting up outside of school clubs and activities
• Offering a safe and secure environment
• Liaison with carers and families

• Willing to travel to different locations around your area including Crescent Lagoon, Gracemere, Frenchville, Wandal, Parkhurst and surrounding suburbs
• Motivation to work with primary aged children and participate in quality and engaging activities
• Australian work rights
• Willingness to obtain your valid state based Working With Children Check and Food Handling Certificate as well as mandatory national child safety and state child protection training completions
• Committed to Child Safeguarding and understanding of Mandatory Reporting responsibilities
• Able to provide contact details of two professional managers / referees who can speak to your ability to work with children (eg OSHC Coordinator, EY Director, Area Manager, or similar)

No formal EC qualifications needed, however experience working with school aged children is required
