Job Description:

This role includes training Beauty Sales Consultants, executing promotional events, and maintaining compliance with sanitation policies. Work includes education, coaching priorities, and driving beauty-related initiatives within various doors.

Job Responsibility:

  • Acts as the primary advocate for driving the entire Beauty & Personal Care business in each of their assigned doors
  • Leads the elevation of service by empowering all Beauty Sales Consultants to become beauty experts and increase Beauty & Personal Care multi-brand and category selling
  • Works closely with Store Management and Senior Advisors of Beauty to set coaching priorities for the Beauty Sales Consultants teams to maximize sales
  • Creates and monitors individual sales plans for each Beauty Sales Consultant
  • Understands critical business drivers and uses business acumen to identify the needs of the local customer
  • Creates comprehensive event execution plans
  • Owns the execution of brand/product education for all Beauty Sales Consultants
  • Ensures all Beauty Sales Consultants complete required training courses
  • Cultivates an environment of continuous learning
  • Coordinates and executes all corporate beauty events such as giveaways, Beauty Box events, and vendor-specific events
  • Supports Store Leadership in recruiting and hiring Beauty Sales Consultants.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years in a leadership/supervisory position in a service-driven environment
  • 1-2 years of Beauty & Personal Care selling experience
  • Strong passion for beauty
  • Ability to educate, coach, and develop a team
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret general business information
  • Ability to effectively communicate with and present information to customers, vendors, buyers, peers, and all levels of management
  • Mathematical skills including basic math functions like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Work independently, with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to anticipate and solve problems
  • Physical abilities such as constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, and standing, as well as the ability to lift at least 30 lbs
  • Strong leadership profile and excellent negotiation skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Goal-driven, with ability to multi-task
  • Creativity in training of product knowledge and motivation of daily objectives
  • Creativity and resourcefulness to execute in store event strategies
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Ability to collaborate, empower, and develop team members
  • Commitment to exemplifying the highest integrity and professional business standards.

Nice to have:

  • Cosmetics experience
  • License in cosmetology or esthetics
  • Current knowledge of products and brands.
