Job Description:

Join a well-known foreign car audio supplier to drive pre-sales engagement with China OEM customers. This role involves collaborating with product and business teams, influencing OEM strategies, building relationships, developing market-leading product propositions, and supporting customer-facing proposals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive the pre-sales engagement of automotive products with China OEM customers
  • Work collaboratively with the product and customer business unit teams, investing significant face-to-face time directly influencing and molding the OEM customer strategy
  • Understand how each OEM prefers to work with partners & suppliers, identify the key contacts and players covering all appropriate cross-functional disciplines, build relationships, formulate and implement product specific strategies to win new business with these OEMs
  • Develop a deep understanding of the OEM needs and drive the voice of the customer into company's product and technology roadmaps
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, set the OEM specific sales strategy and build value propositions for product offerings
  • Collaborate with the product marketing team and drive OEM product awareness through demo-cars, marketing campaigns, and press releases
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the automotive landscape, OEM transformations, and competitor offerings and partnerships
  • Create, contribute, and provide oversight to customer facing proposals, content and strategy, supporting the sales team to win customer pursuits

Requirements:

  • Prior business development experience with at least 10+ years focused in automotive sector
  • Energetic, forward thinking and creative individual
  • Strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong focus on business development
  • Prior experience on selling Software as a Product preferred
  • At least 5+ years of experience in putting together strategic proposals with a proven track record of successful outcomes
  • Language Skills – Fluent Mandarin and English: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
