As a Business Development Executive (BDE) Intern – SDR Role, you will support the sales team in lead generation, prospect research, cold calling, and initial outreach for B2B technology services. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build a strong foundation in B2B sales, SaaS/services selling, outbound prospecting, and account-based selling, with hands-on exposure to real sales processes and tools. You will work closely with senior BDEs, SDRs, Account Executives, and marketing teams to help grow the sales pipeline.
Job Responsibility:
Lead Research & Prospecting: Research target companies and identify potential decision-makers
Build and maintain prospect lists aligned with Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs)
Support outbound lead generation efforts across email and LinkedIn
Account-Based & Outbound Support: Assist in drafting personalized outreach messages and follow-ups
Support outreach to multiple stakeholders within target accounts
Execute outreach sequences under guidance from senior sales members
Learn best practices for cold emailing, LinkedIn prospecting, and follow-ups
Cold Calling & Prospect Qualification: Conduct cold calls to introduce services and initiate conversations
Engage with prospects to understand basic requirements
Support initial qualification of leads before passing to senior team members
Inbound Lead Assistance: Support qualification of inbound leads from website inquiries and campaigns
Help schedule discovery calls or meetings with the sales team
CRM & Sales Operations: Update and maintain lead details and activity in CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, etc.)
Assist in maintaining clean CRM data and basic reporting
Track outreach activity and outcomes using Google Sheets
Collaboration & Learning: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand messaging and targeting
Learn how feedback from prospects is used to improve outreach strategies
Skill Development: Learn to use AI tools (ChatGPT, etc.) for research, messaging, and productivity
Develop a strong understanding of B2B sales processes and client communication
Requirements:
Final-year students, fresh graduates, or candidates with 0–1 year of sales experience
Background in business, marketing, management, or technology is a plus (not mandatory)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable with cold calling and client interaction
Basic familiarity with LinkedIn, email, and B2B communication
Willingness to learn CRM tools and outbound sales platforms
Comfortable working with Google Sheets or similar tools
Curious, proactive, and eager to learn sales skills
Comfortable with targets, follow-ups, and structured processes
Ability to take feedback and improve quickly
