Job Responsibility

  • Work closely with other employees in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests
  • Provides a courteous and professional service at all times
  • Facilitate the process of producing food from scratch to final produce which comply to strict hygiene standard and according to recipe
  • Help in keeping par stocks and to ensure sufficient supplies at all times

Requirements

  • High school education, cooking school or culinary institute education or equivalent experience
  • At least 2-3 years' related working experience

  • Ensure proper marination, roasting, and carving techniques are followed
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the BBQ section and kitchen area
  • Assist in inventory control, stock rotation, and minimizing food wastage

  • Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required
