The Controls and Avionics Solutions (CAS) and Power and Propulsion Solution (PPS) business areas area experiencing unprecedented growth. Engineers will develop flight and mission-critical products for more than 170 commercial and military customers. You will have the opportunity to help design and develop the next generation: Fly-By-Wire Flight Controls, Aircraft Engine Controls, Ground Vehicle Power Management Systems, Aircraft Electrification Systems, Advanced Air Mobility Systems, Autonomous Flight Systems, Flight Deck Systems, Cabin Management Systems, Weapon Control Systems, and Mission Systems for the world's most prominent commercial and military aircraft and vehicle manufacturers. Job Responsibility

  • Developing, allocating, and managing complex system, hardware, and software requirements for HV Battery Systems and Battery management systems
  • Researching and developing complex, safety-critical, high-power battery system designs and architectures
  • Defining hardware, software, and programmable logic interfaces and functionality
  • Preparing and reviewing documentation for system designs and architectures
  • Performing system and/or product integration
  • Verifying and validating complex aspects of system designs to ensure conformance with functional specifications and customer requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer/Mechanical Engineering, or related field, and minimum of 6 years work experience or equivalent experience
  • Must have High Voltage Battery systems knowledge and experience
  • Must have cell level knowledge (NMC/NCA)
  • Must have experience taking a program from concept to full scale production
  • Must have experience of taking a battery design from a blank slate and execute it in requirements and architecture and then in Hardware and Software
  • Ability to work effectively on a team either on-site or remotely
  • Willingness to perform a wide variety of related task
  • Working knowledge of drawing and configuration management practices
  • Communicates effectively both orally and in writing
