Job Description:

Are you a skilled and customer-focused plumber looking to make a real difference in people's homes? We're looking for an experienced Plumber to join our team. This is a rewarding, full-time, permanent role ,Property Services, supporting local residents through high-quality repairs and maintenance work.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carry out a variety of plumbing tasks including repairs to pipework, taps, toilets, hot water systems, and drainage
  • Respond to both emergency callouts and routine maintenance jobs within occupied homes
  • Diagnose plumbing faults and determine effective, long-lasting repair solutions
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with safety regulations, industry standards, and contract requirements
  • Use PDA or mobile devices to accurately log job details and completion notes
  • Deliver excellent customer service when liaising with residents
  • Collaborate with other members of the repairs and maintenance team as required

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Plumbing
  • CSCS Blue Card (ideally)
  • Demonstrable experience in domestic plumbing - preferably in social housing or responsive maintenance settings
  • Good working knowledge of plumbing regulations and health & safety standards
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
  • Clear communication and customer service skills
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
