Job Description:

Staff Physiotherapists are required to rotate through the following: ICU/cardiothoracic units; Orthopaedics; Medical/surgical wards – covering respiratory, oncology, neurology, mobility/falls assessment

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsibility for the provision of a high quality physiotherapy service
  • Carrying a clinical caseload appropriate to the post
  • Seeking advice from a more senior member of staff when needed
  • Assessing, planning, developing, implementing and reviewing of individualised treatment/intervention patient centred programmes
  • Goal setting in partnership with patient, their family and other team members using their specialist clinical skills and knowledge
  • Developing appropriate and individualised patient education and discharge planning and utilise available resources for same
  • Collaborating with other health care team members

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy
  • CORU registered
  • Continued Professional Development Diary including evidence of reflective practice, In-service training, courses attended and Clinical Governance gained
