Are you ready to take your career to the next level while driving the future of smart buildings? Trane Hungary is looking for a BAS Internal Sales Engineer to join our Sales Team. We're seeking a motivated professional to support the BAS Sales Engineering team on pre-sales and post-sales multi-faceted projects with technical activities such as calculating material requirements and generating plans, preparing drawings, creating bill of materials and design.

Job Responsibility:

  • Create, verify, and ensure the quality of client quotations using the appropriate tools
  • Preparation of simple and complex solutions for building automation systems (both technical and costing)
  • Responsible for preparing simple and complex Building Automation System (BAS) solutions—covering both technical design and costing—and delivering accurate, comprehensive quotations
  • Cooperate with external parties like designers and (sub-)contractors in process of preparation of customer solutions and offers
  • Prepare documents, order files, and I/O lists needed for handover to implementation teams
  • Identify and report quotation anomalies and suggest improvements to the BTL
  • Collect, analyze, and track client information and technical documentation
  • Coordinate with finance to confirm clients’ creditworthiness
  • Take responsibility for ensuring demand adequacy and improving task efficiency
  • Recommend enhancements and tool adaptations to improve work quality, results, and processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field required or in progress
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in Building Control Systems/EMS & HVAC Systems
  • Must be able to meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment
  • General business level in English (B2 and above)
  • Technical experience with building control systems and applications for commercial buildings and HVAC
  • Highly self-directed individual with the ability to plan activities and achieve results
  • Must be flexible, professional and communicate well with internal and external stakeholders
  • Team player
