Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced BAS Installer for an immediate, short-term engagement in Memphis, TN. This is a hands-on field role supporting a full building controls upgrade, including new controllers, devices, and front-end graphics. The ideal candidate is highly comfortable working independently in the field, reading wiring diagrams, and performing device installations and changeouts. This role is installer-focused (not programming-heavy) and requires strong technical fundamentals in HVAC controls and building automation systems.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform hands-on BAS installation activities on-site
  • Pull, route, and terminate low-voltage control cabling
  • Install and wire controllers, VAV boxes, temperature sensors, thermostats, water valves
  • Execute light checkout and point-to-point verification
  • Perform device replacements and changeouts
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and control drawings
  • Support full controls system upgrades, including new controllers, field devices, updated graphics and front-end systems
  • Maintain clean, organized, and code-compliant installations
  • Coordinate with programming and commissioning resources as needed
  • Adhere to all safety, site, and quality standards

Requirements:

  • Building Automation Systems experience required
  • Familiarity with JCI Facility Explorer (FX)
  • Familiarity with Niagara 4
  • Familiarity with JACE controllers
  • Strong understanding of HVAC control systems and sequences
  • Prior experience with retrofit or upgrade projects strongly preferred
  • Must be eligible to work under prevailing wage conditions
