Bartender/Beertender is responsible for positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving beverages to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner. All Bartenders/Beertenders will complete transactions in accordance with Pennsylvania’s RAMP standards.
Job Responsibility:
Able to create standard mixed drinks along with specialty cocktails, canned beer, and wine
Knowledgeable of all specialty cocktail programs, ensuring the proper recipes and vessels are always used according to build sheets
Knowledgeable of the different types/varietals of beer and wine offered
Assists Stand Lead with set-up and break-down of the bar pre and post-event
Ensures all product is displayed properly and promotes additional up-sells with each transaction
Verifies proper I.D. for all alcoholic beverage transactions and responsibly serves all patrons in accordance with Pennsylvania’s RAMP standards
Ensures that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests, communicating inventory or equipment needs to Stand Lead as needed to replenish supplies
Maintains a clean, neat and safe work area, along with completing additional stand duties as assigned by the Stand Lead
Shows flexibility by rotating to other service locations when necessary, including service bartending positions
Completes other duties as assigned by Management
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to read, speak and write English in order to communicate with staff and guests
Ability to work all venue events and maintain a flexible schedule to meet service demand levels, including extended hours, days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to work in an open aired environment during all climate conditions
Must be punctual and dependable
Must maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance in accordance with company and venue standards
Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant standing, reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette preferred
Ability to effectively listen and take direction from management
Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
Must meet state and local requirements for alcoholic beverage services
Required – RAMP certification (can be provided by Legends upon hiring if necessary)
