As a Bartender at East Coast Concepts, you will be the heart of our bar operations, crafting a wide range of beverages with flair and precision while providing outstanding customer service. You will create a welcoming environment that encourages guests to relax and enjoy their time with us. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will play a key role in enhancing the overall guest experience and supporting the smooth running of the venue.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to customers in a timely and friendly manner
Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders and making recommendations based on their preferences
Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar area following health and safety standards
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the till system
Monitor customer behaviour and manage any challenging situations professionally and sensitively
Support team members and management to ensure smooth daily operations
Assist with stock control and inventory management to minimise waste and maintain adequate supplies
Adhere to licensing laws and company policies at all times
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar hospitality role is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable manner
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork ethic and willingness to support colleagues
Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and tills
Knowledge of drink preparation, cocktail recipes, and bar equipment is a plus
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
Personal licence holder or willingness to obtain one is advantageous but not essential
