Bartender

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to customers in a timely and friendly manner
• Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders and making recommendations based on their preferences
• Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar area following health and safety standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the till system
• Monitor customer behaviour and manage any challenging situations professionally and sensitively
• Support team members and management to ensure smooth daily operations
• Assist with stock control and inventory management to minimise waste and maintain adequate supplies
• Adhere to licensing laws and company policies at all times

• Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar hospitality role is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable manner
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork ethic and willingness to support colleagues
• Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and tills
• Knowledge of drink preparation, cocktail recipes, and bar equipment is a plus
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
• Personal licence holder or willingness to obtain one is advantageous but not essential
