Job Description:

Bartender position at Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa preparing drink orders, maintaining bar cleanliness, processing payments, and providing excellent guest service in a luxury hospitality environment.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare drink orders for guests according to specified recipes
Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles
Set up and maintain cleanliness of bar, tables, and tools
Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks
Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies
Transport supplies to bar set-up area
Wash soiled glassware
Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables
Process all payment methods
Count bank at end of shift, complete cashier reports
Secure liquors, beers, wines, storage areas
Complete closing duties

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds
Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Ability to reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, stooping
