Job Description:

Bartender position at The Westin Brisbane, responsible for creating unforgettable guest experiences at The Charles Bar, Settimo Restaurant and Nautilus Pool Bar. Role involves crafting signature cocktails, serving beverages with flair, and maintaining vibrant atmosphere while embodying five-star luxury standards.

Job Responsibility:

Provide warm, friendly and professional service to guests
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including classic cocktails and signature drinks
Inform guests about seasonal promotions and menu updates
Anticipate and address guest needs
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Requirements:

Proven experience as a bartender
Strong skills in creating classic and innovative cocktails
Excellent verbal communication skills
Outgoing, enthusiastic, and approachable personality
Must hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol (Queensland) certificate
Available to work over a 7-day rotating roster including evenings, early starts, public holidays, and weekends

Nice to have:

Confidence to promote ideas and make sound decisions under pressure
Knowledge of current mixology trends and beverage techniques
