Bartender

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers, ensuring accuracy and consistency in taste and presentation
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making personalised drink recommendations based on customer preferences and preferences
• Create unique and innovative cocktail recipes, staying up-to-date with current trends in mixology and beverage industry
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking and replenishing supplies, such as liquor, glassware, and garnishes
• Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu, including knowledge of ingredients and preparation methods
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation, including coordinating with servers and kitchen staff
• Resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, striving to provide a positive experience for all guests
• Assist in the preparation of ingredients and mise en place for various dishes, ensuring high standards of quality, taste, and presentation are met
• Maintain a clean and organised workstation, ensuring all ingredients, utensils, and equipment are readily available and in good working condition
• Adhere to proper food safety and hygiene standards, including temperature controls, storage procedures, and sanitation practices, to maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment
• Continuously expand knowledge of beverages, attending workshops, seminars, and tastings to enhance skills and stay informed about industry trends

• Have a contagious passion for bar service and/or customer service

• Ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution-oriented perspective
• Previous experience in a similar role, especially in the food service industry, is often a plus
• Some knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

• In order to obtain an airside pass we will need verifiable evidence of your past 5 years of work/education history
