Job Description:

Bartender position at JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa focused on creating memorable and unique experiences for guests. Role involves mixing drinks, building relationships, anticipating guest needs, and maintaining high standards of service and quality.

Job Responsibility:

Mix drinks and build memorable experiences
Take ownership of guest service broadly
Ensure bar looks and functions flawlessly
Build relationships with others across hotel and community
Anticipate and deliver on guests' needs
Handle money transactions
Provide information to guests
Maintain drink quality
Create safe workplace
Follow company policies and procedures
Protect company assets
Maintain confidentiality
Maintain professional uniform and personal appearance

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
Ability to reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
Knowledge of beverage trends and micro-local offerings
Passion for guest service experience
Attention to detail
