Job Description:

This position is responsible for taking and preparing all drink orders for guests and beverage servers. Must maintain the bar area ensuring it is stocked, ready and clean. Performs all functions in accordance with applicable laws and gaming regulations. Responsible for ensuring the operational viability and profitability of the bar.

Job Responsibility:

  • Taking and preparing all drink orders for guests and beverage servers
  • Maintaining the bar area ensuring it is stocked, ready and clean
  • Greeting guests and team members eagerly
  • Assisting with guest questions regarding promotions, events, specials
  • Maintaining attendance to ensure coverage
  • Maintaining Departmental log(s) noting unusual occurrences, incidents, equipment failures, safety issues
  • Serving as a role model to staff and management
  • Helping maintain a workplace that is comfortable, clean, and fun
  • Interacting with customers to ensure 100% customer satisfaction
  • Following all city, county, state, federal & tribal laws
  • Able to multi-task and serve multiple guests and beverage servers at one time
  • Up-sells all products
  • Promoting current casino events and programs
  • Using the 10/5 rule
  • Keeping the working area clean and organized.

Requirements:

  • Prior customer service in a demanding environment preferred
  • Must have excellent customer service/communication skills
  • Must maintain a neat and professional appearance
  • Previous bartending experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least six (6) months bartending experience in a full-service bar and/or restaurant
  • Must know cocktail/bar mixes and follow all recipes
  • Basic knowledge of Micros POS systems
  • Good people skills and knowledge of computers
  • Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, and holidays and overtime
  • Must be able to provide documents to show eligibility to work in the United States
  • Required to pass a drug test and obtain and maintain a gaming license
  • Otoe Missouria Gaming Permit
  • Liquor License
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. and push, pull or drag up to 150 lbs.
