Job Description:

The Bartender position at W Hollywood involves preparing drink orders for guests, maintaining the bar area, performing physical tasks, and adhering to company policies for safety, security, and quality. The position is full-time and requires a high school diploma, at least one year of related experience, and the ability to perform physical tasks.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare drink orders for guests
Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles
Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and tools
Prepare garnishes for drinks
Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies
Transport supplies to bar set-up area
Wash soiled glassware
Process payment methods
Count bank at end of shift and resolve discrepancies
Complete closing duties
Follow company safety and security policies
Greet and assist guests and ensure their service needs are met
Develop positive working relationships with others

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
Ability to follow company and safety policies and procedures
Ability to perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, and carrying objects up to 50 pounds
Ability to work standing, sitting, or walking for an entire shift
