Bartender

• Prepare drink orders according to recipes
• Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles
• Set up and maintain cleanliness of bar, tables, tools
• Prepare fresh garnishes
• Stock ice, glassware, paper supplies
• Transport supplies to bar set-up area
• Wash soiled glassware
• Remove soiled wares
• Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs
• Process payment methods
• Count bank, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, secure bank
• Secure liquors, beers, wines, storage areas
• Complete closing duties

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• At least 1 year of related work experience
• No supervisory experience
• No license or certification required
• Ability to follow company and safety policies
• Ability to report accidents and unsafe conditions
• Ability to complete safety training
• Maintain clean and professional uniform and appearance
• Maintain confidentiality
• Welcome and acknowledge guests
• Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
• Speak using clear and professional language
