Job Description:

The Bartender role at The Royal Hawaiian a Luxury Collection Resort involves preparing drinks, maintaining the bar area, handling payments, and delivering excellent guest service in alignment with company standards and security policies. It includes physical responsibilities such as lifting, bending, and standing.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare drink orders for guests according to specified recipes
set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools
prepare fresh garnishes for drinks
stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies
transport supplies to bar set-up area
wash soiled glassware
count bank at the end of shift and resolve discrepancies
secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas
adhere to company safety and security policies
anticipate and address guests’ service needs
ensure quality expectations and standards
perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience
ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period
ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
