Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Bartender to join the team at the prestigious V&A Museum Members' Room. Full-time position (5 out of 7 days). Ours cafes and restaurant at V&A has a mix of brasserie style food, freshly, made sandwiches, wraps, and salads. We are predominantly day time shifts, meaning we offer one of the best work-life balance in hospitality. You are passionate and articulate about food and beverage. We are looking for experience in customer service, full training will be provided.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Prepare alcohol, non-alcohol beverages, hot drinks
  • Interact with customers, take orders and serve drinks
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Stay guest focused and ensure the customers experience is maintained at all times to the highest standard
  • Ensure that safety standards are followed at all times
  • Taking orders, making coffees, running food and looking after sections
  • Ensuring that food safety standards are followed at all times
  • General cleaning duties and general tasks across the site

Requirements

  • Experience in customer service
  • Able to work weekends and late evening shifts
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A smile, dedication to exceeding customer expectations, and being a great team player are essential
