Job Description:

Bartender position at Moxy Tulum preparing drink orders, maintaining bar cleanliness, serving guests, and creating a playful atmosphere. The role involves physical tasks, payment processing, and following safety protocols while delivering exceptional guest service.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare drink orders for guests according to specified recipes
Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles
Set up and maintain cleanliness of bar, tables, and tools
Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks
Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies
Transport supplies to bar set-up area
Wash soiled glassware
Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables
Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs
Process all payment methods
Count bank at end of shift and complete cashier reports
Secure liquors, beers, wines, and storage areas
Complete closing duties
Follow company safety and security policies
Report accidents and unsafe conditions
Maintain professional uniform and appearance
Welcome and acknowledge all guests
Address guests' service needs
Develop positive working relationships
Support team goals
Adhere to quality expectations

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds
Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Ability to reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
