Job Description:

The Swim-Up Bar Bartender is responsible for creating exceptional beverage experiences for guests enjoying Serpent’s Bay. This role blends hospitality, efficiency, and personality—delivering handcrafted beverages with energy while maintaining a safe, clean, and engaging poolside environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, enjoys interacting with guests, and takes pride in creating memorable moments that elevate the resort experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes, standards, and guest preferences
  • Provide friendly, engaging, and attentive service to guests in and around the swim-up bar area
  • Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with alcohol service laws and resort policies
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the bar area, equipment, and service stations
  • Monitor guest behavior and consumption to promote a safe and enjoyable environment
  • Accurately process orders and payments using the POS system
  • Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and inventory as needed throughout the shift
  • Collaborate with Recreation/Activities and Food & Beverage teams to support overall pool operations
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards, including pool safety awareness
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and inventory counts
  • Always Uphold Dellshire Resort service standards and brand culture

Requirements:

  • Previous bartending experience preferred
  • hospitality or resort experience strongly desired
  • Knowledge of cocktail preparation, beer, wine, and beverage service techniques
  • Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service per state law
  • Responsible Beverage Service certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong communication and guest service skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed in a high-energy environment
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and team-focused mindset
