Job Description

The Bartender Supervisor oversees daily operations of the bar, ensuring an exceptional guest experience aligned with Four Seasons' standards. This role combines hands-on bartending with team supervision, maintaining product quality, service efficiency, and a refined guest environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Supervise the bar team to deliver attentive, efficient, and personalized service
  • Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and quality standards
  • Ensure bar mise en place is consistently stocked, clean, and organized
  • Maintain strong product knowledge, including cocktails, spirits, wines, and seasonal offerings
  • Train and mentor new and existing bartenders on service techniques and product knowledge
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock counts, and assist in ordering supplies
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints promptly with professionalism and care
  • Ensure billing accuracy and follow all cash handling and POS procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a luxury or high-volume environment
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, remain calm under pressure, and lead by example
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Previous supervisory or team leader experience preferred
  • Must hold Japan working authorization
