Job Description

Engage in customer service by taking orders, preparing/serving drinks and food, and managing payments.

Job Responsibility

Mixing cocktails, pouring beer/wine, and preparing garnishes
Taking food/drink orders in person and by phone and serving them
Greeting customers, answering customer questions, making recommendations, and upselling items when necessary
Cleaning the bar/dining & patio areas as needed, washing glassware, bussing tables/dishes, restocking, and following alcohol compliance laws accordingly
Processing payments, handling cash and credit card transactions accurately
Performing other duties as appropriate

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Previous bartending experience preferred
Exceptional communication, multitasking, and ability to remain calm under pressure
Ability to stand/walk for long periods, push, lift, and pull up to 50 pounds
Knowledge of cocktails, wines, beer, and POS proficiency
Demonstrate quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to analyze and solve problems
efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision
work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends
Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations
Valid ABC and Food Handler’s Certifications
