Job Description:

Engage in customer service by taking orders, preparing/serving drinks and food, and managing payments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Mixing cocktails, pouring beer/wine, and preparing garnishes
  • Taking food/drink orders in person and by phone and serving them
  • Greeting customers, answering customer questions, making recommendations, and upselling items when necessary
  • Cleaning the bar/dining & patio areas as needed, washing glassware, bussing tables/dishes, restocking, and following alcohol compliance laws accordingly
  • Processing payments, handling cash and credit card transactions accurately
  • Performing other duties as appropriate

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous bartending experience preferred
  • Exceptional communication, multitasking, and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods, push, lift, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Knowledge of cocktails, wines, beer, and POS proficiency
  • Demonstrate quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
  • efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision
  • work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends
  • Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations
  • Valid ABC and Food Handler’s Certifications
