At The Randolph, Oxford’s most iconic hotel, our bars are vibrant destinations in their own right — serving expertly crafted cocktails, premium wines and spirits, and welcoming guests from across the world. We’re now looking for a confident, commercially minded Bars Manager to lead the bar operations, inspire the team, and elevate the drinks experience across the property. If you’re passionate about cocktails, leadership, and building high-performing teams, this is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a flagship hotel bar operation.

Job Responsibility

  • Leading day-to-day bar operations across The Randolph
  • Managing, mentoring, and developing the bar team
  • Driving cocktail quality, presentation, and service standards
  • Managing stock control, ordering, and cost performance
  • Creating seasonal cocktail menus and supporting drinks innovation
  • Monitoring labour, rota planning, and performance KPIs
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing, health & safety, and hygiene standards
  • Working closely with senior leadership to grow revenue and guest satisfaction

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bar Manager or strong Assistant Bar Manager in a quality-led venue
  • Excellent cocktail, spirits, and wine knowledge
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of cost control
  • Confident leadership skills and ability to motivate teams
  • Calm, organised approach in a busy service environment
  • Genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience
