Job Description:

Marriott's Luxury Collection seeks a Barman in Florence to deliver outstanding service at The Excelsior, a renowned luxury hotel. Responsibilities include guest service, wine and liquor management, teamwork, and adherence to company standards. Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, bring at least 1 year of experience, and possess strong communication and physical skills.

Job Responsibility:

Answer guest questions regarding wines
check quality and quantity of supplies
requisition supplies
restock liquor
prepare drink orders
issue and serve wine bottles
manage cash and receipts
secure liquors and storage areas
anticipate replenishment needs
assist management in hiring, training, and scheduling
ensure adherence to safety and security procedures
maintain professionalism and confidentiality
provide excellent guest service
support team goals
ensure adherence to quality standards
perform other job duties as required.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience
ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds
ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes
ability to anticipate and address guest needs
strong teamwork and communication skills.
