Job Description:

We are seeking a hardworking, energetic, and team-oriented Barista to join our team at Junie’s Coffee Café in the Motto by Hilton. Our cafe is an integral part of our guest experience, providing a high-quality locally sourced coffee program, delicious pastries, grab & go breakfast items, and exceptional customer service.

Job Responsibility:

Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and other beverages
Operate coffee-making equipment and maintain cleanliness of the equipment
Assist in the stocking and serving of pastries and other grab & go food items when necessary
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately when needed
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth cafe operations

Requirements:

Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred
Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Basic math skills for handling transactions
Flexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
A passion for coffee and a desire to learn more about the craft
